MCSONIC ultrasonic horns, also called welding heads or sonotrodes, are supplied for plastic, non-woven fabric and metal welding or cutting. Standard and custom horns are available in aluminum, titanium, hardened steel and stainless steel. Horn designs use finite element analysis, and each unit is tested for shape, strength and acoustic parameters to match the generator and transducer; segmented and adjustable fixtures are also available.
