Description
MC-2000C Ultrasonic Food Cutting System
The MC-2000C is a complete ultrasonic cutting solution, comprising an advanced digital ultrasonic generator, transducer, and cutting blades.
Precise digital control As a digital generator, it allows precise adjustment of all ultrasonic parameters through a user-friendly control panel, easily catering to your diverse processing needs.
Premium titanium blades The ultrasonic cutting blades are made of high-quality titanium alloy and manufactured in compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards, delivering a nearly frictionless cutting surface. This makes the system ideal for cutting a wide variety of foods, including cakes, bread, nuts, sandwiches, cookies, dough, cheese, and fresh honey.
Proven expertise MCSONIC has been specializing in the ultrasonic cutting industry for over 15 years. Our ultrasonic cutting components are widely used in food factories around the world and are highly recognized for their quality and reliability.
Applications
Ultrasonic Generator — Digital Ultrasonic Power Supply
The digital ultrasonic generator converts AC mains power into a high-frequency, high-voltage electrical signal that drives the cutting system.
With its intuitive interface, you can easily manage the entire food cutting process by setting the relevant parameters directly on the generator. What's more, the generator parameters can be integrated into your existing machine control panel — bringing all settings together in one place for simple, centralized control and management.
Designed and manufactured with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulation and precision-crafted from titanium alloy, our food cutting blades ensure efficient, high-quality performance.
During cutting, the titanium alloy ultrasonic blade creates a virtually frictionless cutting surface — minimizing food sticking and deformation, and delivering clean, smooth cuts every time.
Key Features
Precise digital control — every cutting parameter is set from the generator's control panel, so amplitude and timing are dialled in for each product instead of being fixed at the factory.
Configurable soft start — soft-start time, amplitude and run time are adjustable within the rated power range, which keeps the first contact with the product gentle.
Power-on scan control — you decide whether the unit scans when it is switched on, which helps on lines that stop and restart several times a shift.
Remote parameter changes — settings can be edited from a host computer over the built-in communication port, so a generator mounted inside a closed cabinet never has to be opened.
Matched transducer stack — the set arrives with the industrial ultrasonic transducer the generator was set up for, so the drive and the stack are paired rather than guessed at.
Control Integration
Mount the transducer and blade on your cutting head, leaving clearance around the blade so the stack can vibrate freely.
Connect the generator to your mains supply and, if you want centralised control, run the built-in RS485 port back to your machine controller.
Enter the start frequency and bandwidth for the transducer you are running — mismatched values are the first thing to check if the cut feels weak.
Cut a short trial batch on your own product and adjust amplitude and cutting speed until the cut face is clean and square.
Note the settings that worked for each product — a written record keeps the ultrasonic food cutting system running from a known point instead of from guesswork.
Technical Support & Model Matching
Unsure which ultrasonic system fits your workpiece or production line? MCSONIC's engineering team helps you select the right machine, horn or blade configuration before you order, backed by over 15 years specializing in ultrasonic cutting and systems widely used in factories worldwide. We support customization of key parameters, integration into existing automation lines, and clear guidance on installation, commissioning and daily operation. Our after-sales engineers help troubleshoot issues remotely or on site, and selected systems support remote diagnostics. Send us your drawings, samples or cycle targets and we will recommend a practical configuration.
FAQ
Can the blade be made in a particular length or profile?
Blades are made to suit the cut rather than supplied in one standard shape. The titanium alloy ultrasonic cutting blade is designed with FEA simulation and then machined so the edge matches your product and the slice you are after. Send us the slice dimensions you need and a photo or sample of the finished piece, and we will confirm the profile before production starts.
How should the blade be cleaned between products?
The titanium alloy ultrasonic cutting blade has a very low-friction surface, so sticky and moist products cling to it far less than to a steel knife. In practice that means a wipe-down between product changes rather than a scraper and a long stoppage. Follow your own hygiene plan for food-contact parts, and avoid anything abrasive that would mark the blade face.
Can the generator run a transducer we already own?
Yes, in most cases. The generator is set from the transducer's own frequency, and each frequency we offer has a matching capacitance range, so the two have to line up. Send us the rated frequency and capacitance of your industrial ultrasonic transducer and we will confirm whether it can be driven. A stack outside the listed ranges is not a good match.
What happens if the generator detects a problem during a run?
Voltage, current and frequency are watched by both the software and the hardware, so a fault stops the drive instead of damaging the transducer. On a well-tuned ultrasonic food cutting system it should be a rare event; if it happens repeatedly, the usual causes are a stack that has drifted out of tune or a blade rubbing against a fixture.
What documents come with the system?
The wiring schematic and electrical connection diagram are supplied with the unit, which is usually the first thing an integration engineer asks for. Further technical documents can be downloaded or requested from our team, and we can provide the generator's parameter sheet so your maintenance team has the working settings on record.
Do we need a different blade for each product?
Not usually. One blade normally covers a family of products, and changes are made on the generator side rather than by swapping hardware. Where a product needs a different slice width or a shaped cut, a second blade is the cleaner answer; tell us what you are cutting and we will say which route suits you.
